Who is responsible
The Reprises MTL (reprisesmtl.ca) and Repo MTL (repomtl.ca) sites are operated by Gianni Campanella, commercial and residential real estate broker (licence J5263) — Vendirect Inc., real estate agency. Personal information collected through the forms on these sites is collected and used by Gianni Campanella, real estate broker, acting with Vendirect Inc., his real estate agency. Person in charge of the protection of personal information: Gianni Campanella — confidentialite@reprisesmtl.ca — 3055, boul. Saint-Martin Ouest, bureau 5, Laval (Québec) H7T 0J3.
Information collected
When you request the list or a listing: name, phone, email, optional criteria (area, type, budget), optional comments, date, language and consent(s). “Thinking of selling?” form: also your plan (sell, buy or both), property type and, if you are selling, the property’s city and (optional) address; if you are buying, the area you are looking in (optional). The address of a property for sale is confidential: it is kept only in our database and passed to the broker, never published or written to technical logs. No sensitive information is collected. The site uses no advertising cookies or profiling tools; only your language preference is stored in your browser.
Purposes
To send you the requested list or listing and the broker’s contact details; to contact you about your request or your plan to buy or sell (for example to prepare a comparative market analysis of your property); to email you an acknowledgement of your “buy or sell” request; and, only if you ticked the optional box on the “buy or sell” form, to email you alerts. A repo-list request is only used to send you that day’s list, once: it is never added to a mailing list, alerts or any automated follow-up.
Disclosure and hosting
Your information is never sold. It may be processed by our technical providers (hosting, email delivery), possibly located outside Québec, under confidentiality agreements, as required by Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Checking requests
To confirm that a request comes from a prospective buyer, the information you provide (name, phone, email) may be checked against public sources: a single licence-verification search of the OACIQ public register of licence holders per inquiry, and public web sources (for example the website associated with your email domain). Automated decision: if the check raises no flag, that day’s list is sent to you automatically; otherwise the request is reviewed by the broker, who decides whether to send it. The broker receives every request and the result of the check. You may ask which information was used and the reasons for the result, and ask for a person to review the decision. You may ask for an explanation or submit observations by writing to the person in charge.
Visit source
When you arrive on the site, we keep in your browser (local storage, no advertising cookies) the landing page, referring site and campaign (utm) parameters of the link you used. This is attached to your request only if you submit the form, so we know which sources work.
Retention
Requests and consent records are kept 24 months [period to be confirmed] after the last contact, then destroyed or anonymized, unless the law requires otherwise. Cached screening results are deleted after 24 hours.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, or withdraw consent at any time, by writing to confidentialite@reprisesmtl.ca. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation). You may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
